Founding Farmers joined the gathering of DC foodies last night at the RAMMYS Awards Gala held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Our team was on hand to mix up some of the city’s favorite cocktails, including our Cucumber Delight featuring our award-winning craft vodka, and celebrate our industry friends.

Founding Farmers is ready for the Kentucky Derby, and if you haven’t stopped by, you should, because we are already celebrating what has been coined “the greatest two minutes in sports.” We are pre-gaming for the Derby all week with several takes on the Mint Julep, the traditional cocktail of Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby for nearly a century now, using our very own Founding Spirits American Whiskey, including: “Never Bitter” Julep with Founding Spirits American Whiskey, mint, and bitters, topped with Founding Spirits American Amaro; TR Julep with Founding Spirits American Whiskey, mint, and bitters; and the 1924 Julep with Founding Spirits American Whiskey, mint, aromatic bitters, and cherry.
Busy Buzzing Bee Installation
Founding Farmers was onsite last weekend when The George Washington University Apiary installed six new honey bee hives. We support this undergraduate urban beekeeping research project, which includes a dozen hives atop a campus building in downtown DC.
