Oh, do we have a sweet treat in store for you this holiday season at Founding Farmers Tysons! Our Founding Farmers Tysons culinary elves (i.e. our Pastry Team) are hard at work creating delicious sweets and treats for you and yours this holiday season.

We’re excited to announce that Farmers Restaurant Group is opening a fourth Founding Farmers. This time our doors will open in Reston, Virginia, and serve as our second location in Northern Virginia.

VA craft beer is taking center stage this summer as Virginia celebrates their love of craft beer with festivals, special events, and fun/interactive craft brewery happenings. In fact, Virginia is in good company as CraftBeer.com reports that the average American lives within 10 miles of a craft brewery.

Giving back to the community is just one amazing benefit of working so hard at operating a successful restaurant. And when we’re able to give back to our local community and impact the lives of our next generation, all the better!

Last night’s third installment of MoCo’s Founding Farmers Behind the BARn series proved another successful, spirited evening led by our amazing Beverage Director Jon Arroyo and his team of beverage & cocktail experts.

Our newest Farmers Restaurant Group restaurant, Founding Farmers Tysons (FFT), is much like our other Founding Farmers restaurants: a labor of love. Our restaurant consulting team loves collaborating with and being inspired by our external team of amazing designers, artists, and craftsmen, who bring our concepts to life.

We are happy to share that our second event in our Behind the BARn series was a great success. This installment aptly named, “Margarita May,” drew guests last night to MoCo’s Founding Farmers for a fun night of food, a look behind the scenes of our Founding Farmers bar & beverage program … and of course some yummy margaritas!

Founding Farmers DC and Farmers Fishers Bakers in Georgetown are excited to participate in Negroni Week 2015!  We are always thrilled to hear about efforts to raise money for charitable organizations, while pairing it with celebrating one of the world’s greatest cocktails: The Negroni!  

We’d like to thank Virginia’s Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, and specifically the Greater Washington Innovation Awards, for their recognition of Founding Farmers restaurants. Founding Farmers Tysons was recently recognized in the prestigious category of Hospitality, Tourism & Entertainment Innovator of the Year, Greater Washington metro area.

A few of us had the pleasure of taking a road trip recently to Virginia’s heartland in order to spend an awesome day touring the facilities and visiting with the good people at Devils Backbone Brewing Company.
