GALAvanting with Remarkable Farmers & Friends in PA
Last Friday evening, the new Founding Farmers King of Prussia team got an opportunity to meet some of our soon-to-be neighbors in Pennsylvania at the Remarkable Farms Gala. Created by Greener Partners, this annual event celebrates the revitalization of local, small working organic farms.
The gala featured a one of a kind Farmers’ Square with tastings from local purveyors, including our very own Founding Farmers King of Prussia, which opens November 1, 2017. Our chefs served our Crunchy Ahi Tuna Bites, proving once again what a crowd favorite these tasty appetizers can be. We also got a chance to chat about our restaurant opening in the King of Prussia Town Center and encourage our new neighbors to make their reservations now for November and beyond.
After an entertaining mingling and tasting welcome, gala guests enjoyed a seated dinner hosted by Radnor Hunt featuring local, farm-fresh food and locally sourced spirits. A live auction followed with a variety of custom, farm-to-table events along the East Coast on the block. Proceeds from the evening go to supporting the Greener Partners’ program, dedicated to cultivating healthy communities through food, farms, and education.
