Every Veterans Day, like many of our national holidays, we serve our brunch, along with our lunch/dinner menu, across all of our restaurants – Founding Farmers, Farmers Fishers Bakers, and Farmers & Distillers.
It is a great season to visit Founding Farmers Tysons. Our sunflowers are back and in-house through September.
We love welcoming guests to our Tysons restaurant with our bounty of sunflowers. Each year, we harvest these beauties with our friends and sustainable partners at Sweet Virginia, a non-profit working to educate children about the wonder of honey bees and their importance in pollinating and maintaining food diversity for every living creature on the planet.
Savor summer with Restaurant Week at three of our DMV area Founding Farmers restaurants.
From August 12th through August 18th, our Founding Farmers Reston Station and Founding Farmers Tysons teams will be welcoming guests to our Northern Virginia restaurants for the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington’s (RAMW) Restaurant Week Summer 2019.
Our MoCo’s Founding Farmers will be not only participating in the DC area RAMW Restaurant Week event, but our Potomac, MD restaurant will get started a few days early – August 9th – by joining in Bethesda Magazine’s Restaurant Week Summer 2019, which also runs through August 18.
What is Negroni Week?
In 2013, Imbibe Magazine and Campari launched Negroni Week as a celebration of the classic Italian Negroni cocktail and a way to raise money for charity. Since then, Negroni Week has grown from approximately 120 industry participants to almost 10,000 partners worldwide, and Founding Farmers is proud to participate in DC’s Negroni Week once again.
When is Negroni Week?
Last night, Co-Owner Dan Simons and our team were thrilled to accept the Maryland Green Registry’s Leadership Award for MoCo’s Founding Farmers from Maryland Secretary of the Environment, Ben Grumbles, and the Maryland Department of the Environment.
Last night, members of our team celebrated our win as one of the Greater Washington, D.C. area’s Best Places to Work by the Washington Business Journal.
We couldn’t be more proud. Of course, we thank the Washington Business Journal for this nomination and win.
