What is Negroni Week?  In 2013, Imbibe Magazine and Campari launched Negroni Week as a celebration of the classic Italian Negroni cocktail and a way to raise money for charity. Since then, Negroni Week has grown from approximately 120 industry participants to almost 10,000 partners worldwide, and Founding Farmers is proud to participate in DC’s Negroni Week once again. 

Last night, Co-Owner Dan Simons and our team were thrilled to accept the Maryland Green Registry’s Leadership Award for MoCo’s Founding Farmers from Maryland Secretary of the Environment, Ben Grumbles, and the Maryland Department of the Environment.

Last night, members of our team celebrated our win as one of the Greater Washington, D.C. area’s Best Places to Work by the Washington Business Journal.  We couldn’t be more proud. Of course, we thank the Washington Business Journal for this nomination and win.

It is no secret that sustainable practices are built into the very fabric of our Founding Farmers mission, which includes our efforts to get to know our suppliers and the sources of our food.

This weekend, Founding Farmers King of Prussia returned to The Valley to sponsor the Valley Forge Revolutionary 5-Mile Run® for the second year in a row. Over the years, the run (dubbed “Rev Run”) has raised over $400k in support of Valley Forge National Historical Park.

We love hosting our annual derby festivities to celebrate what the Kentucky Derby is famous for… the horses, the hats, and of course, the booze.  Come join us at Founding Farmers DC to salute America’s Greatest Race from April 29th through May 5th.

As a farmer-owned company, supporting our team and our local community is built into our DNA. So, when one of our own builds a local, homegrown cycling team that needs support, we’re all in.  For the second year in a row, Farmers Restaurant Group is happy to back a local, homegrown elite cycling squad registered as a USA Cycling Domestic Elite Team.

Founding Farmers King of Prussia was honored to participate in the Hogs & Honeys Foundation for Kids 2019 Spring Fling this past Saturday, March 30th. The non-profit is celebrating 15 years of gathering together to help disadvantaged children throughout the Montgomery County, Pennsylvania area, and we couldn’t be more proud to support such a great cause. 

Spring has made its way to the DC area, and with it comes America’s favorite pastime. Opening Day at Nationals Park is next Thursday, March 28th. Join us for a tasty and hassle-free Opening Day matchup between the Washington Nationals and the New York Mets.  Founding Farmers Reston Station is the perfect place to dodge the long lines and crowds at Nationals Park and Metro directly to the game.
