Get Your Hot Dogs, Here!

Spring has made its way to the DC area, and with it comes America’s favorite pastime. Opening Day at Nationals Park is next Thursday, March 28^th. Join us for a tasty and hassle-free Opening Day matchup between the Washington Nationals and the New York Mets. 

Founding Farmers Reston Station is the perfect place to dodge the long lines and crowds at Nationals Park and Metro directly to the game. Step up to your plate at our table before or after the big game and enjoy some of our American family favorites. 

Of particular interest to most baseball fans, we’ve got a grand slam selection of what we think are the best hot dogs ever made. Seriously. Straight from our partners at 44 Farms, our hot dogs are a quarter-pound of 100% beef, but not just any beef. Our hot dogs are made from premium steak cuts only, and always nitrate free. Try our traditional Ball Park Dog with yellow mustard, ketchup, relish, and onion. Or feast on our classic takes on a Chicago Dog or Philly Cheese Dog. Of course, we also have a Texas Chili Dog for those craving a little extra kick.

If you are not a hot dog lover, we serve fresh made Burgers & Sandwiches, and other American favorites, such as our Yankee Post Roast and Meatloaf & Gravy. 

Opening Day means cold beer for many, and our selection is hard to beat. We source from other sustainably minded, high-quality breweries, working to appeal to a range of tastes. Our beer program includes lagers and ales, light to bold, and our servers are happy to help our guests pick their favorites and guide them to try something new if desired. We can promise you, our beer choices, just like our hot dogs, will outplay anything you will find at Nats Park.

And then there is dessert. No Founding Farmers meal is complete without it. In honor of baseball’s big day, we will have special Opening Day Farmers Donuts on hand. Or if you want to end your meal with some traditional American dessert favorites, we have Apple or Cherry Pie served with our hand-churned vanilla ice cream too. 

Getting here is easy, as Founding Farmers Reston Station is a quick trip on the Metro’s Silver Line. We are located right next to the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station. Traveling by car? We offer parking validation for up to three hours. If you come see us for Nats Opening Day, or any time, we always recommend making a reservation.
