Nature’s BERRY Best: Wild Maine Blueberries

This year, we are celebrating summer with the berry best: wild Maine blueberries.

We partner with Merrill Blueberry Farms, who have been harvesting these small and mighty berries for four generations along the fertile coast of Maine. Packed with antioxidants and literally bursting with the best blueberry taste we’ve ever had, we’ve all gone wild for wild Maine blueberries.

Our chefs have created a delicious array of scratch-made summer specials for a limited time only beginning on the first day of summer, June 21, at all Founding Farmers locations and Farmers Fishers Bakers DC, including:

  • Blueberry Crumble Ice Cream house-churned lemon buttermilk ice cream, marbled with crunchy masa bites & blueberry jam
  • Blueberry Crumble Sundae our blueberry crumble ice cream, blueberry compote & masa crumble
  • Blueberry Pie with vanilla ice cream
  • Blueberry Cheesecake vanilla cheesecake with blueberry compote
  • Blueberry Jefferson Filled Donut filled with pastry cream and blueberry jam
  • We also have our popular Blueberry Muffins with crunchy cinnamon sugar streusel

All our breakfast menus also feature wild Maine blueberries, including our Farmhouse Waffle, Classic Brioche French Toast, Vanilla Cream Filled French Toast, and our Buttermilk Pancakes that have blueberries cooked inside plus a side of blueberry compote you can put on top.
