Founding Farmers Set for Brand Expansion

We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our first Founding Farmers restaurant outside the DC-Maryland-Virginia (DMV) region!

Slated to open in spring 2017, at the state-of-the-art dining, retail, and residence destination – King of Prussia Town Center just outside Philadelphia, PA – Founding Farmers King of Prussia will bring the Founding Farmers brand of farmer-owned, sustainable, quality food and drink that the restaurants have become known for.

Under the direction of our Farmers Restaurant Group management team and our partners at North Dakota Farmers Union, Founding Farmers King of Prussia will be designed as a two level, 14,000 square-foot space, with just over 300 hundred seats that we’re excited to fill with our new guest base.

“I’m thrilled for the chance to reach guests in the King of Prussia area with our message, food and drinks that come from the heart of a farmer-owned collection of restaurants,” said owner, Dan Simons. “Going to King of Prussia doesn’t feel far. We already buy loads of product and produce year-round from Pennsylvania producers, and we can get to King of Prussia with an easy drive or train ride, so our current team will expand while still being very connected,“ said Simons.

And expand we will. In addition to Founding Farmers King of Prussia, we are also working on the opening of Founding Farmers Reston Station (VA) and new concept, Farmers & Distillers. Currently in development, we are working closely with our amazing partners, such as the team at Stroik Lighting Design, to create the Farmers & Distillers concept, which will feature an innovative, in-house distillery.
