What better place to celebrate Memorial Day than in our Nation’s Capital, at DC’s waterfront on the banks of the Potomac River, and just two miles, as the crow flies, from Arlington National Cemetery.
Whether you’re joining the national celebrations across the DC area, the National Memorial Day Parade, or the National Memorial Day Concert, or gathering with family and friends, pulling out your summer whites, and simply enjoying three days off, we hope you make your way to Founding Farmers Fishers & Bakers. For Memorial Day Weekend, we will be serving our Farmers Market Buffet Brunch at Founding Farmers Fishers & Bakers on the Georgetown Waterfront on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Our Farmers Market Buffet Brunch is also available all three days at Founding Farmers Tysons, Founding Farmers Reston Station, Founding Farmers King of Prussia in Pennsylvania, and Founding Farmers & Distillers in DC’s Mt. Vernon Square. This festival of food is hard to beat with traditional breakfast fare such as fluffy buttermilk pancakes, crispy applewood smoked bacon, a butchers table, a gardeners table ripe with fresh salads, desserts, and more.
Founding Farmers DC and MoCo’s Founding Farmers in Potomac, MD have a sit-down, a la carte style service all three days of the long weekend. Feast on our ever-popular Chicken & Waffles made breakfast-style with scrambled eggs, indulgent French toast, decadent benedicts, buttermilk pancakes, poached egg hashes, and our amazing applewood smoked bacon.
Our brunch drinks are also fan favorites. Across all of our restaurants, we make craft cocktails using our own spirits from our distillery Founding Spirits and house-made mixers. From the best Bloody Mary in town, according to Washington City Paper, to our Fisher’s Tikis at Founding Farmers Fishers & Bakers and our old fashioned scratch sodas, we can usually quench anyone’s thirst. Of course, we also serve our delicious house-roasted coffee.
