Tysons First Bake Cafe Opens

Looking for something better than the typical premade to go breakfast? Or an alternative to counter service where you can order something fresh & delicious to eat, a great cup of Joe, and grab a quick seat? We have great news for our NOVA neighbors: Founding Farmers Tysons now has our First Bake Cafe, and we are continuing to raise the bar on grab & go food.

First Bake Cafe in Tysons is a proper pastry shop. “We are making traditional laminated dough by hand, and using it in a great variety of pastries, both sweet and savory,” says our pastry baker, Chef Norman Messer. “Our Bacon & Cheese Cruffin is my current favorite. It’s a cross between a croissant and a muffin, or technically, a muffin made with this unique, layered, handmade dough. They are delicious.” In addition to what is on our regular menu, Chef Norm will be making daily specials to surprise our walk-in guests. 

Every weekday, our First Bake Cafe will have an assortment of handcrafted pastries and bagels made in-house, which you can order with a tasty schmear, buy by the dozen, or enjoy as our hot Egg & Cheese Bagel Sandwich. We also have our popular scratch-made donuts, Breakfast Burritos, and our delicious Yogurt & Granola, Oatmeal, and Coconut Chia bowls. To accompany all of this handcrafted food, our baristas will be steaming up and pouring fresh lattes, cappuccinos, our house favorite First Bake Blend drip coffee, and more. “We are excited to bring something new to the Tysons Lerner block and the entire Tysons Corner area,” says General Manager, Paris Twyman. “We look forward to giving our local businesses and residents a great weekday alternative for their morning commute, mid-morning pick me up, and even to share at nearby meetings.”

First Bake offerings can be taken with you to go or enjoyed in-house. We have reserved a special grab-your-own-table seating area in our Sun Tea Room throughout First Bake breakfast. We can also arrange catering pick up or delivery of any of our assorted pastries, bagel platters, and treats, as well as our First Bake Blend coffee by the box. 

All of our First Bake breakfast selections are currently available weekdays until 10:30am, and many of the pastries and baked goods will continue to be available until around 4pm.
