At Founding Farmers Reston Station, we can accommodate your group and private dining needs. Conveniently located on Metro’s Silver Line, we can host a wide range of group and private events in our private dining room, bar area, or on our patio. Whether you are hosting a company dinner, corporate luncheon, or office retreat… a birthday party, holiday gathering, or graduation party… or any other celebration or event, we have a large, beautiful private dining room plus lively bar area perfect space for any cocktail-style event. Our team will work to create the perfect meal and experience for you, your guests, and your budget. Depending on the location and size of your party, we offer everything from seated and served prix fixe menus to an array of passed starters to a buffet setting for your guests to enjoy while they mix and mingle.
The Potting Shed
Our Potting Shed is a unique, private dining space inspired by Thomas Jefferson’s love of gardening. This 50-seat (up to 70 standing room) private dining room sits adjacent to our main dining area. With garden vibes and warm lighting, our Potting Shed has an overarching cozy feel while simultaneously joining the energy of the restaurant nearby. It is both a beautiful and eclectic choice for private dining in the Northern Virginia area.
Our Potting Shed also has AV equipment available for those looking to have a working session while they dine. However, those accommodations can be completely hidden if you prefer your party to be entirely tech free.
The Potting Shed is not available until 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Bar Area
For “mix & mingle” style events that are more casual and don’t necessarily require a private area, a section of our bar is available to reserve. Perfect for an after-work cocktail hour or celebration with friends, this space is located alongside our bar, comfortably holding up to 40 seated guests. The space offers five adjacent bar booths and one large high-top table.
Partial Bar (Seated): Up to 40 guests
