Founding Farmers is ready for the Kentucky Derby, and if you haven’t stopped by, you should, because we are already celebrating what has been coined “the greatest two minutes in sports.”
We are pre-gaming for the Derby all week with several takes on the Mint Julep, the traditional cocktail of Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby for nearly a century now, using our very own Founding Spirits American Whiskey, including: “Never Bitter” Julep with Founding Spirits American Whiskey, mint, and bitters, topped with Founding Spirits American Amaro; TR Julep with Founding Spirits American Whiskey, mint, and bitters; and the 1924 Julep with Founding Spirits American Whiskey, mint, aromatic bitters, and cherry. You can also keep it simple with our Founding Spirits American Whiskey served neat or on the rocks.
Or, stop by our sibling restaurant, Farmers & Distillers, on Friday, May 4 from 4:30-5:30pm for a tasting and opportunity to meet our award-winning Distillery Manager, Bob VanLancker.
