Early Bird Winners Get Sips & Snacks

With the opening of our restaurant at Reston Station just days away, some of our guests who made reservations for a meal during our first two weeks won a chance to get a sneak peak, behind the scenes look at our latest Founding Farmers.

Two nights in a row, winners and their plus ones were invited to a festive occasion of Sips & Snacks in our new bar. Co-Owner Dan Simons was on hand to greet them and take them on a special tour through the main dining room to learn all about our art and design and through our busy kitchen, which was in the middle of our simulated dinner service.

After the tour, these winning sneak-peakers snacked on some of our most popular scratch-made Founding Farmers menu choices: Bacon Lollis, Ahi Tuna Bites, Farm Breads, Devil-ish Eggs, and Pierogi. They also sipped on some classic Founding Farmers craft cocktails made with the award-winning small-batch spirits we distill: Cucumber Delight, made with our very own Founding Spirits Vodka; and Ward Eight, made with our Founding Farmers Rye Whisky. The lucky winners even got to leave with a treat: three of our scratch-made Buck’s Donuts.
