Travis Adams
We commissioned Travis Adams to create the custom glass artwork showcased across our Alexandria location.
The large glass installation behind our Founding Farmers Alexandria bar pays homage to the art of traditional distillation and our very own Founding Spirits. Handblown glass tubing, organic bottle forms, and copper clusters blend playful imagination and craft with a scientific edge.
Handblown glassware bottles, decanter sets, and custom-made drinkware are also featured throughout our Alexandria dining room. Adams’s cut glass art refracts the amber and grey tones, referencing the spirits they are meant to hold.
Together, these glass art pieces are inspired by the technical elements, science, and creativity that go into crafting individual spirits for our Founding Spirits.
Adams has traveled extensively in pursuit of his passion for visual art. Born and raised in Kentucky, he received an MFA in sculpture with a concentration in glass from Illinois State University.
