RichshaadRyan, a self-taught DC-based artist, says he is “spreading positivity with bright colors as my voice” while making “ordinary art for extraordinary people.”
After more than a decade, we needed to replace our revolving door at our flagship restaurant, Founding Farmers DC. That door that has been spun literally millions of times as guests have come to dine with us. While the work was being done, we wanted to ensure our front door conveyed the essence of our message. We collaborated with DC-based artist, RichshaadRyan. His love for people and his love for DC made it an easy choice to create a front door message that combined our two messages: all humans are welcome and farmers matter. He also helped us cover and beautify the windows broken at Founding Farmers & Distillers DC from the looting during the summer 2020 protests with his piece, United We Stand.
