Honoring Veterans: A Community Event to Remember

At Founding Farmers Restaurant Group, community is at the heart of everything we do. This Veterans Day, we’re taking it a step further at MoCo’s Founding Farmers by partnering with Freedom Brew, a local Maryland brewery known for their dedication to supporting veterans and active duty military personnel. It’s more than just a partnership—it’s a shared commitment to mental health, especially for those who’ve served our country. 

This Veterans Day, we’re continuing our tradition of offering a 50% discount to all active duty, retired military personnel, and veterans. But this year, we’re also excited to be offering Freedom Brew’s craft beer to benefit Stop Soldier Suicide. Stop Soldier Suicide is an incredible organization providing mental health and PTSD support for veterans and service members. With every Freedom Brew beer sold, 50% of the proceeds will go directly to this charity, helping veterans and service members get the care and support they deserve. 

We will be serving the following Freedom Brew beers on Veterans Day:

• American Lager: A classic version of the beer that founded American beer. This golden lager is light enough to drink on a hot summer day and flavorful enough to pair perfectly with steak, barbecue, chicken, or fish.
• Hazy IPA: This is a rockin’ Hazy IPA. Hops up front, smooth on the finish. Not bitter at all. It’s what an IPA should be and could easily become your new staple IPA.
• Oktoberfest: Rich malt flavors with a toasted, bread crust undertone, in a deep amber/copper beer delivering a clean, dry finish.
