Now Roasting & Serving Our Own Coffee
We are now roasting and serving our very own truly exceptional coffees.
Founding Farmers Coffee is roasted in house in small batches using state-of-the-art, green technology from Bellwether Coffee and high-quality, traceable coffee beans from independent farmers around the world.
We are serving several single origin varietals chosen to offer different flavors for different preferences. We currently have a clean & bright light roast from Ethiopia, a silky and smooth medium roast from Colombia, and a full-bodied dark/espresso roast from Brazil. Our varietals will change based upon the season and availability. In addition, we have our own proprietary coffee – Our Farmers Blend – which is a very drinkable seasonal blend from Central and South America.
In our restaurants, we use these high-quality, house-roasted beans in a variety of coffee drinks. Our Farmers Blend is our house coffee, now brewed with the revolutionary process from the innovative Ground Control Cyclops™, designed to bring out all of the rich flavor of the beans with none of the bitterness. If you stop in and order a just a simple cup of coffee, you will get a taste of just how good it is. Of course, we continue to serve an assortment of espresso drinks, nitro brews, pour overs, and French press. All are served with cream and milk from local, farmer-owned South Mountain Creamery, or sub almond, coconut, or soy.
Our menus give the full array of coffee choices at each of our restaurants, including our sibling restaurants, Farmers & Distillers and Farmers Fishers Bakers. We think our coffee is particularly good with our newest treat, our house-made Founding Farmers Chocolate. But we also use our house-roasted coffee in our craft cocktails, house-churned ice cream, and a dessert favorite – Affrogato, a scoop of ice cream with a shot of espresso over it (and you can add a shot of our Founding Spirits American Amaro).
