The team at Founding Farmers is starting to get seriously excited about the upcoming opening of our latest restaurant in King of Prussia. In fact, we’re all a bit giddy to share the great progress we are making to bring our farmer-owned, tasty scratch-made goodness to this bustling suburb of Philadelphia in the fall.
When we first learned about Bubba’s Sweet Nectar and the story behind their honey, we were all individually saying, “show me the honey.” Obviously we are excited about our recent partnership with this central Virginia-based honey company started by two friends who call each other “Bubba.”
The Bubba crew wowed us with their honey, and we are happy to say we are now using Bubba’s Sweet Nectar in our food and drink.
At Farmers Restaurant Group, every day we are working to build and run green, sustainable restaurants.
As a farmer-owned company, we care about the future of the planet, and we recognize the importance of preserving the land for future generations.
Founding Farmers has an exciting new partnership with Chesapeake Smokehouse, and our new smoked salmon dishes are here to prove it. We have honestly never tasted such fresh and flavorful smoked salmon, and we are pretty sure you will agree.
Summertime at Founding Farmers Tysons means we are basking in the golden blaze of sunflowers. Every year, we are delighted by bountiful bouquets from our partner, Sweet Virginia, a non-profit organization on a mission to inspire and educate children about the wonder of honey bees and the critical role they play in pollinating fruits and vegetables, as well as the overall positive impact they have on our environment.
At Farmers Restaurant Group, we are proud of our American heritage and the generations of workers that continue to provide the backbone of our country. From our owners, who are family farmers, to the people who help us create our restaurants, we do our best to honor and support hard-working American families however we can.
A couple weeks ago, we took a trip out to the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country to visit the owner of Bell & Evans, Scott Sechler, and the rest of his team who supply the chicken for all of our restaurants.
All of our locations will be offering our award-winning brunch this Independence Day, and MoCo’s Founding Farmers in Potomac will also be serving brunch on Monday, July 3rd.
What better way to celebrate this great land of ours than by enjoying our American classics, which help to support hardworking family farmers, many of which are our owners, investors, and suppliers.
Join Farmers Restaurant Group this weekend to celebrate dads and all that they do. Each of our restaurants will be serving our amazing brunch, regularly named as the best in the city by locals, including Washingtonian Magazine readers and the Washington City Paper.
Last Friday, June 2nd, Founding Farmers paired up with Sweet Virginia to pay a visit to Ross Elementary School in Washington, D.C. We wanted to share everything we know about honey bees and their importance in our lives with their pre-K class.
