MANAGER IN TRAINING PROGRAM

Think the life of a restaurant industry pro is for you? Do you enjoy adrenaline and hard work? Do you have a passion for knowledge and excellence?

Well, the Farmers Restaurant Group Manager in Training Program is exactly what the chef ordered! This incredible six-month opportunity puts you on the right track to a management position with our fast-growing organization, based in Washington, D.C.

Farmers Restaurant Group operates Founding Farmers DC and the soon-to-open Potomac’s Founding Farmers, two restaurants that offer farm-to-table, American-inspired true food and drink in a modern and eco-friendly setting. Our menus include classic dishes made from scratch, inspired by the heartland and supported by sustainable farming practices.

Founding Farmers is a Certified Green Restaurant which operates in Carbon Neutral with offset credits via CarbonFund.org, and is a LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold restaurant, a combined first for a Washington, D.C., restaurant and the first full-service, upscale-casual restaurant in the entire U.S.

During the MIT Program, you will have the chance to dive into the operations of OpenTable’s most-booked restaurant in the country. From back of the house to the front of the house — and through all the systems in between — you’ll be fully immersed in every element of our restaurant while making a competitive salary and while working closely with a smart, savvy, and fun group.

The Farmers Restaurant Group team is committed to quality and excellence, and the MIT program offers you the chance to put your food where your mouth is.

At this time we have filled the slots for our current MIT class. We will have open slots again in six months from now — so please check back!
