General Manager Paul Chin-Fong
Paul Chin-Fong joins the Founding Farmers team with a very diverse background, beginning with an undergraduate degree in Aviation Business Administration, which is something no one else on the restaurant team can say!
Veering off his course in the flight industry, Paul spent 6 years as a financial analyst In Los Angeles, CA working his way up to Regional Manager and Strategic Business Coach for 20 Bank of America branches throughout the Tampa, FL area. Switching gears once again, Paul transferred his love of the restaurant industry and strong skills in leadership and management to become General Manager of TGI Friday’s in Tampa. He had not been in the industry too long before the Cheesecake Factory Group recognized his talents by taking him on as Corporate Field Training Manager. During that time, Paul was flying back and forth between Orlando and Chicago to oversee the opening of 17 new restaurant locations, as well as to help lead strategic development and management training consultation with the corporate office.
After 6 years with the Cheesecake Factory Group, Paul picked up and moved to the mid-Atlantic area to once again utilize his leadership and process-improvement talents as the General Manager of Ruby Tuesday’s in Virginia Beach. In less than a year, Paul dramatically improved the quality of product and guest service as well as employee morale.
When Paul’s former colleague Chef Al Nappo was recruited to join the Founding Farmers team, Paul took note – and took the move for Chef Nappo as a sign that the two of them could work together again to create a dynamic, seasoned and highly successful team to continue the great success that Founding Farmers enjoys. Paul is a dynamic personality and once you meet him, you’ll see why we’re so excited and fortunate to have him working in Washington, DC!
